If you will be using specific software with the device, be sure to choose a mobile computer with a compatible operating system (the most common can be seen to the right). For tough conditions, choose a rugged industrial-style IP54 or IP65 environmentally sealed unit. Data can be batched through a cradle, sent wirelessly to a local network with RF wireless or Bluetooth-enabled units, or broadcast via a GPRS cellular network for real-time communication on the road.
Most mobile computers connect to your workstation through a cradle, usually sold separately. Communication and power cables, cradles, and other required accessories can be found by clicking the "Related Products" tab from the product detail screen. Other miscellaneous accessories such as stands/mounts, holsters, and warranties can also be found in this section.
